I’ve heard a few people say this. But I really think paulsen would do well at that level and so will his coaching tree. Just not seeing this system translate to the A10.
That's my feeling but I openly admit to not really knowing what I'm talking about. It's mostly gut and a generally decent ability to read situations.
I don't pretend to know why, but I think it's clear that different people are successful at different levels. I don't even think it's as simple as "A good coach can win in D3 or the Patriot League, but it takes a great coach to win in the A10." I think winning a D3 or D2 National Championship must be hard as shit and no one ever lucked into it. A bad coach could not do what Dave did at Bucknell. But for whatever reason, it's not translating and he does not seem to be adapting. This is not just a reaction to being disappointed by this season's A10 record. We have years of evidence, gut, and "eye test" now.
