I thought Grayer led the team in 3pt shooting? Or was that only in league play? Interesting to note zero references to Relvao and Tamera.

Grayer was close (.383) for the season 3 pt %. I didn't see the league stats but I have also the sense that Jaire heated up from 3 after January . Same reaction to the lack of mention of Relvao and Temara, but it's only a handful of tweets, so the sample size may be an issue. Also the guards do appear to be the team's strength, so that might have been the takeaway message.

My money would be on Relvao if he could learn to move his feet and stay out of foul trouble.

Troy has the agility and athleticism to be a competent 5 in the A-10, but seems a bit too flaky for a no-nonsense coach like DP.

If he has grown up and gotten focused on improving his game during the offseason, there's no reason he can't be a rotation player at Mason.

Obviously the team needs to get better front court guys and Paulsen is doing that but for 2017-18 we are still a heavily guard oriented team. Going to see a ton of 4 and 5 guard lineups again because Paulsen willl play to the roster's strengths.

Calixte and Reuter are the future. I am banking on Relvao and Calixte as the present even though I would love to see Troy succeed. Hopefully he has had a great offseason

He couldn't beat out Relvao for much time last year, may have been hurt, but still pretty telling.

Mostly he was immature. Troy would've benefited from a redshirt year but I don't think the staff felt they could afford to sit him, given our lack of depth up front and the uncertainty with Relvao's knees.

With maturity and focus, I think he can contribute. Nimble and bouncy 6-8, 230-pound players don't grow on trees at our level.

I still think Relvao will be fine. I never noticed a lack of athletism from him last season, despite his knees. From an idiot on the sideline, he just looked like a guy who never expected to get the ball. So when he was passed too he was confused and didn't know what to do.

He was basically a true freshman last year, Jenkins obviously got all the first team reps last year. So hopefully he will get more reps in practice and be more comfortable on the floor. I'm not about to go to Vegas, but I would put my money on Relvao to be most improved player next season.

Immaturity? Because he flexed on the bench and was hyping up the team? Are you just making this up?

I would argue that you could see it with his decision making and how uncomfortable he looked on the floor. Maybe you would prefer to call it being inexperienced and perhaps playing afraid/timid. For me - it has nothing to do with his bench presence, which I appreciate by the way. For someone that showed such athletic prowess, it was wasted as he never looked confident enough to display it in game.

Hopefully the game slows down for him a bit this year and we get to see some highlight plays that will feed his confidence.

I mean, clearly he's an odd duck. Maybe he just marches to his own drummer, or maybe it's immaturity, but don't act like it's a CRAZY notion.

Or JUST MAYBE, he can't shoot and looks totally lost on defense and positioning when rebounding. Nah must be his Snapchat activity.
