It's a 7 game win streak in a so-so OOC schedule. I'm not saying the decision is either right or wrong but it seems premature to be lookin to sign him for longer or declare the extension a great move. I hope everyone remembers their current sentiments towards the team when we get the hammer dropped on us by someone in the A10. Like Paulsen said, there are gonna be some nights we look like we've never played basketball before.
That being said I'm as thrilled as everyone with the turnaround since Houston.
While there is a lot of excitement with the way the team has played of late, most people were looking for Paulsen to show that his teams can show consistent improvement. I think he has shown that pretty conclusively.
Compared to whatever the guy before him that was masquerading as a coach showed us, we are like starved animals at an all you can eat buffet. Can't blame us for engorging ourselves at the moment.
We will lose some games. We will even see some moves by Paulsen that we wonder about, but, I would expect those to be the exception. At this point, he would seem to have earned a little benefit of the doubt.
