Apparently was looking at outdated numbers. Keep in mind that money is split though. We would get just north of 1.2million per game. Not 200k.Thats way more than rental income.

I'm not so sure SBU is a lock yet. Every year the NCAA snubs a couple deserving teamsA-10 should get three teams in, now.
Dan Hurley is still smiling, even after the loss. Probably because of the paycheck he's going to receive (most likely from another school.)
Pretty sure 75% goes to the school that played in the game. Win one game and you getting 2.4 million or 400k per year for 6 yrs. Plus exposure. I will take that over summer concerts at Pat Dome.
I'm certain you are wayyyyyyy off. I'd take the guaranteed lease money over the erratic revenue from NCAA bids and wins. Apply the EBA money into the school and fan development. EBA makes too much money to walk away from and it's far too costly to keep it and have a second arena for Mason athletic events like basketball. Nevertheless, make the numbers work and I'd go for anything that beats EBA in cost vs. revenue.Yea I know, but does that equal or can it have potential to generate exposure and/or benefits to the school like a NCAA TOurney bid does? In other words, the net income from the rental is what? Vs the net benefit from consistent tourney appearances. Home court advantage helps you get in the dance. Problem is we have sorry fan base. But not so much if arena is upgraded. Anyway, I think one ncaa tournament game equals the net income from rentals at eba 270k??? Probably way off but someone can look it up. Pablo!!!

Poor Saint Mary’s and Southern California
According to the committee chair, Davidson's win knocked out Notre Dame. That's both awesome (that it happened) and infuriating (that Notre Dame would have been in).
According to Kenpom, in the first round:
- URI a 1 pt underdog
- Bonnies a 2 pt underdog
- Davidson a 3 pt underdog
