"Sneaky good" and picked 9th. Interesting.
I just hope there is a season and that season ticket holders and The Green Machine are allowed to attend games.

I thought his analysis wasn’t super thorough but the order wasn’t too far off. The only shuffling I’d do would be to put URI behind Mason. So much is contingent on them getting waivers.

I also don’t really know what sneaky good means but I suspect it means if all goes right they could surprise a few people (which I think could happen)

The 6-10 seem so interchangeable at this point. I honestly think he’s got us in the right tier at least.

Our real question marks are our big men after AJ. Was thinking about it the other day, if Calixte finally makes his big jump this year and can give us 20 good minutes a game, that would really change the defensive makeup of this team and we will be able to hold our own defensively against the upper half of the league.

he missed Boyd for us, a starter for Duquesne Weathers and had a couple players listed as starter and bench for other teams. He very clearly needs an editor...

Yeah - Bill called him out on twitter for missing Boyd and then Rothstein fixed it.

It was a half a** attempt. Surprised he doesn't have an intern or someone to help him do these writeups.

That’s what happens when all the copy editors get fired. The woman who edits copy for my paper has saved me from my own stupidity so many times I should probably give her part of my paycheck every 2 weeks.

Or just having one guy who is supposed to be an expert of 32 different conferences and 340+ different teams?

he's generally pretty good at A10 other than his sexual arousal for Fats Russell amid other downfalls. Just not a great preview even if most can say the team rankings are pretty decent. GW for instance has got to be a bit better than last season one would think but the pundits think they get worse. we shall see

Calixte could give us 20 mpg right now and we'd be all right. You just can't expect him to necessarily score in one-on-one situations and he'll be a liability on the line. But I'd prefer Oduro to make a big jump and give us a solid 24 mpg.

GW and Rhody need waiver help from the NCAA. If they don’t get it, both are going to be poo-poo next season. I’d rather not be in position to count on the NCAA for anything but making matters worse.

we don't have to fight Jim, but I bet you real money that Rhody is not poo poo next year even with 7 guys eligible to play at the worst case scenario. GW who knows but I don't think they will be either they only have 2 eligibility issues

I agree we'd be alright, but I think he would end up being too much of a weak link offensively for us to hang in with the better teams in the league for the minutes he's out there, which if we are going to need 20 a game from him next year could end up winning/losing games for the stretches he is on the floor.

I kind of Oduro to make a big jump honestly. The big X factor for me would be does Calixte improve, because that would be the gravy we need for our bigs rotation, and will go a big way into us not being overly reliant on true freshman to play big minutes. Honestly to this point, Greg's game has been somewhat stagnant year to year. I fully expect Oduro to give us a solid 24 a game on both ends of the floor next year, and will be kind of let down if he isn't ready for that after he earned the starting spot this season.

Without the good Mitchell twin (who shouldn’t get a waiver after transferring further from home), their depth at the 4 and 5 spots will consist of Jermaine Harris and Antwan Walker, plus a skinny 6-7 kid who redshirted last year in DJ Johnson.

Walker is terrific, but Harris is a fouling machine ... they’re going to get absolutely annihilated in the paint. And their offense will mostly consist of Fatts dribbling until he finds a shot he likes.

If Cox was as good a technician as McKillop or Schmidt, he could scheme his way around a short roster. But he’s not even close. There’s zero reason for anyone to see them as a top-10 team in the A-10 next season.
