UNC came in averaging 7 TO and ended with 15. Enoch Cheeks is averaging 3.3 steals per game. I believe Dayton had 19 points off turnovers at the half. Hopefully we can keep our turnovers under control or the team I saw last night looked like they would eat our lunch if we were to play today.

Dayton defeats UCONN lol... 85-67. Dayton went on a 27-12 run on the last 7 minutes to win (Dayton led 58-55 with about 7:30 to play).

For sure. Kenpom has them #25 now, after 2 narrow losses to ranked teams and a solid win against UConn. Although they have a few cupcakes coming up, they do have #10 Marquette and #9 Cincinnati before the conference season starts.

You know what’s crazy? As good as Dayton has been they haven’t won the A10 conference championship since 2003*.

What’s even crazier? There have been 8 unique conference champions since 2016.

* They probably would have won in 2020, although they did start to struggle to maintain dominance by the end of the season, so who knows? Maybe Richmond knocks them out.
