Once again, not really getting the lack of appreciation for how much Marquise has improved from freshman to sophomore year.

Perhaps more important than the fact that he's worked his a** off to improve his jump shot is the fact that he's now willing to shoot it. As he continues to establish that he can consistently hit that pull-up 15-footer, he will be impossible to keep out of the lane.

Blaming him for our team's lack of flow, ball movement and assists is silly. He's been playing in a lousy "system" and I have no doubt he and everyone else would be much more effective in an offense with any type of fundamental structure.

Considering we have no other PGs on our roster, and have only a scoring PG coming in as a true freshman, we certainly don't need Marquise to transfer. We need to hire a coach who can teach him how to run an offense and distribute the damn ball.

We have no guards, they might want to get some of those

If Gilbert keeps his commitment we will have 4 small forwards and 4 power forwards on the roster next year -- that's eight players out of 13 (10 out of 13 if you include centers Thompson and Porter).

You guys are crazy if you don't like Moore. I know his jump shot looks horrible, but the kid has drive. He can play. If he gets recruiter over, that's fine, but if he leaves we have 0 point guards and 1 shooting guard on the roster next season so far.

What he needs are shooters he can kick it out to who can knock the shots down, because even if people play off him 5 feet on the perimeter he can still get past them. Fordham literally had four players guarding the paint yesterday because we didn't have a single person who could hurt them from beyond 8 feet and Moore still scored 18 points.

I'm sure most of you thought the same thing about Allen too until his senior year.

For me, the top priorities are 1) a stud shooting guard who can start right away, and 2) a point guard we can groom into the role.

Quick question: why doesn't Holloway start? Heakes some time to warm up, but once he's warm, he's deadly with that 3 point shot. That's something that this team desperately needs.

Many times earlier this season that hot hand never came. Which led to him jacking up threes anytime he had the ball. The primary reason I believe is he's a defensive liability. Not that many others are much better.

Terrible shot selection, not a good passer (either takes a shot or backs up and hands ball off, never creates for teammates), defensive liability, shoots a low percentage... Really hope we see the typical senior improvement from him that we saw from BA, Cory Edwards, Morrison, Pearson, etc. etc.

The real answer is who knows? Why did Jenkins lose his starting job to Porter...

The real reason, I suspect, is because we performed much better with Moore and Edwards starting together, although Edwards never shot the ball enough to be an effective shooting guard.

Jenkins is a head case. A new coach needs to straighten him out in order for him to be a continued contributor to this team moving forward.

He travels, bare minimum, once a game
He often rushes his lay-ups or shots around the rim where they consistently miss
He is an inconsistent scorer
His defense is abysmal
He can't rotate or pick up a man on defense consistently
He tries to face up and drive on every player when he gets the ball at the top of the key
He needs to learn back to basket moves
His dribbling is pathetic, often dribbles the ball way too high
He fouls way too much
He needs to learn body control, this will help with controling his fouls
