I love the way Brad speaks about the program. It is such a stark contrast to the way our previous AD spoke about the program.

If only Brad had been hired at least 1 year earlier, my path would likely have been very different.

Our budget is around 3.5million. Davidson's is 2.6. This douche knows nothing. Look at Fordham and Dusquene who are 1 million higher and suck every year. GW is near the bottom. More money doesn't mean you win. vcu is starting to learn that.

At least it's well known that vcu is easy to get into. Admission Req is ranked from easiest to hardest to get into.

The rankings are a little silly - I mean, giving GW a better ranking in game atmosphere than us is a little crazy. And points for the fewest buy games being the same as the other categories is dumb.

The comment "They could have stayed in the CAA" hurts. I hope we put that on our A10 Championship T-shirt at the end of the year.

I want to know which coach said we should have stayed in the CAA so bad... yeah, we finished 5th in the A10 with no seniors last year, but we should have stayed in the A10. Go F Yourself.

I'm hoping it was Paulsen that said it, just to turn it around and get us riled up.

They kept Smart much much longer than pretty much any other non-Power5 school would have been able to. Those extra few years significantly extended their NCAA streak and improved their national recognition. They kept him because they paid him and his assistants (and he was selective with the job he jumped to) - which is a result of their budget.

So those numbers were for the 2016-17 season. I can't remember, were we still on the hook to pay Hewitt that year or was his salary off the books by then?

I mean whoever said these things had to think of something to poopoo about each program, whether it was location, facilities, whatever. I'd much rather them saying something like "oh should have stayed in the CAA", versus saying that and then adding on 4 or 5 things.

It was cool they said we're a passionate fan base. How about that. Haha.

Also, this is not about what will happen this year. I have no idea who said we should have stayed in the CAA, but I doubt that was in response to this particular season. My guess is its about the overal perception of the program. Rember, the question was which job is the most attractive.
Take off our Mason-colored glasses and ask yourself- what have we done since moving to the A10 that would make this coach change what he thinks? We all hope this year will be the first year of sustained success. And if it is, lets ask the same questions in 3 years to see what the results are.

As Dr says, at least the things we need work on are things that are in our control. The three most important things in real estate are already in our favor (and something we can't change)- location, location, location.

I'm also surprised where we ranked in admissions requirements. No shock with Davidson, Richmond, GW and Fordham being where they were. But that we are next is very impressive, IMO.

Be a middle of the road program in the A-10 in the past 2 years (our 4th and 5th in the conference?).

We're 18-18 in conference over the past 2 years, which makes us slam average. If we don't belong in the a10, then fully half the conference doesn't belong in the a10.

It's f'n ignorant.

if the coach is any of Richmond, Dayton, Duquesne, GW, La Salle, UMASS, Fordham, St. Louis or vcu, they can eat s*&^ and die, because we finshed as good or better than them.
