We now also have a very experienced team. Our current roster has a combined 352 games started. IF the pieces all fall in place this could be a very good year.

I just worry about any team with this many new pieces, if it takes time for them to gel, you can play your way out of an at large resume even if you're really good by the time conference play rolls around.

That happened to like 4 separate A10 teams last season.

One of them happened to win the A10 though, so it didn’t hurt them that much (other than seeding).

But yes Loyola and vcu played their way out of at-large contention early. And then us, St. Joes and Bonaventure played our way out of it during conference play.
