Just saw we offered Rashaun Agee who transferred from NM St. to community college after a redshirt season and a COVID year where he played in one game. 6’7 PF should be a sophomore I think.

Averaged 20.1 ppg 11.5 rpg for Casper Junior College this past season. Shot 35% from 3 on 102 attempts.

What type of role would this guy play? Backup to Oduro? More of a power/stretch 4 forward?

Maybe a project, but seems like Felton and English are interested. Perhaps they think they can develop him.

His highlights remind me of Mbaye a lot...he'll basically be a senior next year (1 year red-shirt, 1 free COVID season, 1 year at Casper) despite coming in as a sophomore technically.

I'm going to go with both/and? Big enough at 6'7/6'8 225 to play the 5, but looks like he can shoot it and handle the ball well enough to play the 4. More athletic than Blake Jones, who looks like is going to battle with Henry as Oduro's primary backup next season. Level of competition doesn't look all that great, so don't know how ready he would be if he commits. He's ranked the 63rd best JUCO by JUCOrecruiting.com (who rates SLU commit Sincere Parker as the 8th best 2022 JUCO prospect). Impressive HS bio (from New Mexico State's roster page): was named First-Team All-State by the Associated Press for Illinois prep teams for Class 3A and Class 4A...garnered The Chicago Sun-Times All-City First-Team honors as well…also selected as the NBC Sports Chicago Preps Player of the Year and first-team accolade in his final season.

Given that they are both from Chicago, I wonder if Rashaun is related to Arthur Agee from the 1994 basketball documentary "Hoop Dreams." Either way, I'd highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. It's definitely one of the best sports documentaries of all time.

According to the New Mexico St website, his dad is Lajuan Agee. I know you are all thinking, "You mean Lajuan Agee from Divorce Court fame back in 2020?"

Yup - the one and only! His pops got the W from Judge Lynn Toler... now if Rashaun can collect W's with us, we will be all set.

I was wondering if he was!! Good to know and hope Lajuan is doing well these days.

Either way, I'd highly recommend that to anyone who hasn't seen it. It's definitely one of the best DC episodes of all time.

False. I present to you the 30 for 30 short on the mascot the SF Giants used to let the crowd beat the ever-loving shit out of.

I haven’t researched too much on It, but it seems like a strange recruiting process for Nnaji. Looks like he had offers from Arizona, Minnesota, and Marquette in the past. Not sure what the story is here. If anyone has more details, I’d like to hear them.

Was wondering the same thing as the mason recruiting tweet only mentions 3 lesser schools that are recruiting him.

He had offers from Arizona, Marquette, and Minnesota. Then all of those coaches left. He also heard from Iowa, Arkansas, and Tennessee (which was a conversation I believe KE started)

Last summer he was talking to Xavier and Providence, with both eventually offering him.

From there, I don’t know what happened. Maybe he had an off weekend at an AAU event and schools backed off. Maybe there was an injury at at some point. Sometimes that’s how it goes.

Was that just a really long way of saying you don’t know either? :ROFLMAO:
