It's always been more than just wins & losses for me #BiggerthanBasketball
It’d be nice for Dave to put out a statement like this...
Don’t hold your breath, your kid needs a father
Haha! Hey even if he talked about good practices...I kid I kid.
I don’t think DP expected to be fired this year. He may still be processing all this and that’s maybe why no statement has been made yet.
I can agree with that. It did catch many folks by surprise.
That said, I wouldn't expect him to make a statement like this. Just doesn't seem like his type of personality. Someone would have to look and see if he did one when he left Bucknell.
I believed Paulsen was a nice guy, regardless of how I felt about his coaching and recruiting skills. Going silent is not what I expected but given that it was likely a unexpected move a year early, there may be hard feelings. This is a loss for DP. He can't blame the players now so he isn't going to speak. Would be nice to put something out taking responsibility, but I doubt it.

If this was sudden and unexpected - the man is going through a roller coaster of emotions right now. Probably tough to speak right away.
Her has a family and obligations. He now has to find a new job. Not a fun experience.
He chose this profession. He got paid. We the fans, have been jerked around for 6 years. He will have to get over it.

Exactly. He talked about wanting to be at a school with "Expectations" and wanting a "challenge".
As much as he may have been surprised on timing, he shouldn't be surprised that he didn't mean expectations or the challenge of the A10. It is a tough league and its not for everyone.
There’s an old saying in sports that “coaches are hired to be fired” and in most cases that is true. It’s a zero sum game and very very few get out of it on their own terms.
