Kid is 200 pounds. He isn't the kind of big you guys are looking for. Long, yes, but he'd be pushed around by any halfway decent 5 in the league next season.

We are obviously looking to sign at least one big in 2020, so we can compare d*cks with vcu then.

In the meantime, we still have one scholarship left and we have no idea who we are going to sign (if anyone). Let's stop with the penis envy, please?

ps, we also seem to be relying really heavily on sleeperpick's analysis of Josh Oduro and his terribleness. What if he's wrong? Full disclosure, I have never seen him play so I have no clue, but most of us haven't and don't either.

A few others besides sleeperpick have seen him play. I havent. But I fully trust DP in his recruitment of bigs and expect Josh to start by year 7, at a P5 school. Or atleast ride the bench. WE ARE MASON!!

They are similarly sized.

I would have preferred we went after the JUCO big from the same area who signed with FIU over vcu, Dimon Carrigan. He would have been a sophomore and probably helped out more immediately.

This kid just announced he's transferring from Rice after 1 year. was AAA VA state player of the year last year and is from Lorton. We should pull out all the stops for this kid even if he has to sit out a year.

This kid played for a friend of mine at South County. He's not going to G Mas.

I find the boards more entertaining with the more negative posters, even though it might be repetitive. It creates more discussion on both sides to get a better view from all angles.

Now, I am less vested in the success of the team/program/coach/AD than most. I am also resigned to being a middle of the pack A10 team for the foreseeable future given the variables impacting the program.

I follow the team purely for entertainment purposes. I get as much entertainment whether we win or lose now. It took me a while to get here, but it is a nice place to be.
