2018 Recruit Tracker - Miller and Douglas-Stanley

I saw in the PA tournament JD-S was matched up with a freshman (William Jeffress) who is supposedly a top 10/top 50 in the country kid. Mount Vernon plays some pretty decent teams. Looking at his highlights - he's not just scoring layups and driving by players which is encouraging. He's taking some tough, long shots.

I literally just took Relvao off ignore about 30 seconds ago, then he says playing 20, 25, 26 and 18 minutes in the last 4 games is barely getting of the bench. Back to ignore.

Seriously, with him and Miller, they could have helped at least try to get some more shots and chances for shots to go in. They definitely can use some sniper shooters and they can't come soon enough.

Goodness. JDS is a bona-fide bucket-getter, it seems. And I love his all-business comment at the end of the article.

Douglas-Stanley didn't stop pleasing his coach after the game. He had no issue with missing his chance to match Gordon.

"No, I just go out there and play," he said. "If we're winning, I like to see the guys on the bench go in there and play. As long as we got the win, I'm happy."

Just went and double checked to make sure JDS was already signed so he doesn't get poached - thankfully he is!

I agree that HS scoring can be a red herring in some public school leagues, but to be doing what he is doing at a school like Mount Vernon is pretty insane.

Nobody on our roster has the scoring and skill set of JDS. I have watched about 5 tapes on the guy. His range is unlimited and his elevation and shot are flawless. This guy will really help!
