I thought about that too -- I would figure my contract cancellation would have made some news or public information triggering an update in my contact/mailing data.

But now that I am looking at short term free-lance work --- It will only get harder. ;)

I didn't hear the A10 press conference so I can't comment with authority about what Paulsen said. But when asked at the open scrimmage Saturday about the other A10 teams that figure to fight it out for the conference championship, he mentioned that the A10 Preseason Poll had:
  • St. Louis first as they had a lot of transfers that sat our last year plus signing a top 50 guy this year who figures to be NBA caliber.
  • St. Joe's who have back 2 players, including Charlie Brown, who were injured last year.
  • Davidson who returns Kellan Grady, another top 50 player, who he indicated may not stay 4 years before going to the NBA.
  • Mason was picked 4th
As Mason2005 indicated, he reiterated that St. Louis had a great team on paper but that games needed to be played and hoped that we could continue to improve as the season unwound.

Coach P stated last year on NUMEROUS occasions that the team should be judged on two years, last year and this year. I expect us to compete for the conference championship. If we don't and fall to middle of the pack or worse then I think anyone questioning the direction of the program will be entitled to do so. It's time to win.

Only school to return 100% of what got them to 5th place finish in A10, but only 15 wins......and you add reuter, plus some freshman spice and is that not enough for at least 8 more overall wins?

Of coarse it is bc diet dew Dave has his weapons all set to fire. Time is now, no excuses!!!! Lets roll!!
