But I wonder if the American views us as equals or lower than them. I'm sure there are stats that could prove both sides
The AAC is def > than A10 on name power alone (Cincy, Wichy, UConn, etc.)

If you had your choice, would you guys rather see A10 vs MWC or CUSA?
According to this, looks like the MWC/A10 Challenge is basically a done deal starting in 2020-21:

Yeah, I thought it was pretty arrogant also. They're a good program, but it's not like they're Gonzaga. Why belittle playing an extra game against a league that's consistently thought of as one of the best outside of the P5. One flight to the east coast every other year won't kill them. The San Diego State coach's statement seems misplaced to me. It's not like the PAC 12 teams they play will stop scheduling them...he now gets to schedule an A-10 team now instead of like Pepperdine or Sacramento State and get his team in front of the eyes of some pretty massive basketball markets like Philly, D.C., and New York City early in the season.

Northwestern beat American 63-51.
American was down 2 with 8 minutes left in the game. Northwestern is a top 50-ish team.
American went cold/ran out of gas in the end. They scored 6 points in the last 11 minutes of the game.
