I understand MEAC schools needing to play non-DI schools because they are desperate for home games. Morgan St is playing one; fine.
But for our friends in Harrisonburg to be playing TWO non-DI games is a bit much, IMO.

Lou Rowe knows he needs wins to save his job, no matter how weak the opponent.

Who was the ECU fan who would come on and troll Wilmington fans about ECU's "vaunted" record in men's basketball, even though it always included at least 2-3 wins against non-D1 opponents every year?

Still Jonesin. I think the UNCW folks finally got fed up and murdered him.

Always a little jealous of the Big 5 school's OOC schedules because they automatically get some quality games without even trying.

I am shocked they don't play Dartmouth every year. Seems like a natural rival. I imagine both schools struggle to get home games as its not the easiest place to get to and the weather is always a wildcard. Its not like one school is a power 5 and the other is a low major. Somebody must have p*ssed off somebody else, kind of like Maryland-Georgetown here in the DMV

MWC or MVC?

I think the American is clearly above us in terms of top flight contenders/national prominence and we are clearly above the MVC, since they have been largely raided by other conferences.

The MVC has a lot of good programs, but the problem with them is that it seems their teams take turns having their time in the spotlight, without any of them doing it year over year. Maybe the same could be said for the A10 outside of vcu.

It'd be excited for a challenge with the MVC, and ecstatic about a challenge with the AAC. MWC - meh

Loyola’s Final Four notwithstanding, the MVC is a shadow of what it used to be since Wichita State and Creighton left.

Mountain West is actually a pretty strong league. Assuming we have a good finish this season, we could wind up with a quality OOC game in 2019-20.
