Shaka's ego is too big at this point for him to want to play a distant second fiddle to UT football. If he didn't go after UCLA, I just don't see Texas happening.

Shaka needs to jump at a big BCS offer while the iron is hot. His first-round eliminations in the NCAAT are adding up, and that won't fly much longer at programs with loftier expectations than just getting to the tournament.

I think he'd do great there. He did get Ga Tech to the Nat'l Championship game you know - that's further than Shaka has ever taken a team. Sounds like an upgrade to me!
