So, putting some pieces together:

Thursday, Nov 20th through Sunday, Nov 23nd, Puerto Rico Tourney
Saturday, Nov 29th home against Manhattan
Wednesday, December 3rd home against ODU

This question is, which team's head coach will get a louder applause during intros?

Not that it likely will matter, but our schedule just reeks of a coach desperate to keep his job.
Or it could be that our team is considered so dangerous, Hewitt can't find any majors (other than Okie) who are willing to take the risk of scheduling us.
Considering most of those games are return games, there isn't much we can do.
when has logic ever won out on these boards? it's criticize first and ask questions second.I'm disappointed Jim didn't figure that out on his own.

Pretty sure I realized most of our OOC is contracted return games. Sorry I forgot the sarcastic emoticon.
Come on, Jim. You flat out accused our coach of tanking the OOC schedule to save his job. No emoticon in the world sums up that statement. I'm all for bashing Hewitt when it's warranted, but our schedule was pretty much set last year when we were supposed to be better than we were. That's where he deserves to get grief.
Other than maybe Cornell, I don't see a cupcake on our schedule. God knows we are capable of losing every one of those games, especially against Oklahoma, Iona, Manhattan and whatever teams we face in Puerto Rico.
Whatever you want to think Tom. I honestly don't care.

wins vs. losses are tossed out the door this year, Jim and Tom. It's NCAA Tourney or goodbye. He can pad the schedule all he wants, who cares.
There's no way in hell this team makes the NCAAT, but I agree with you that he's on the hot seat. I'm not sure what Brad Edwards' expectations are this season, but I know the debacle we saw last year won't be acceptable again. Heck, Edwards might even can him in the middle of the year if things get any worse.
Hewitt has certainly made his own bed when it comes to his bad decision-making, but you are right that it gets old when some people just come here to pile on.
I think our OOC schedule will be very challenging when you factor in a roster that includes six new players — including Royal and Thompson — and two sophomores. It doesn't help that this could go down as one of the most under-performing senior classes we've had in a very long time (collectively, the three of them averaged 9.8 points a game).
