Looks like Oklahoma has played some cupcakes heading into our game at the BB&T. Granted, they took care of those cupcake teams pretty handedly. Arkansas - Little Rock, Mercer (we barely beat them last season), and Texas A&M CC. Maybe this will be advantageous for us heading into our matchup in DC.

I think we win. Sounds about right to pull off a big win considering how down we are on the team......then have them implode again for the rest of the season after giving us a PINPOINT ray of hope...lol.

Iona improved to 4-2 with a nine point home win over Marist
St Francis dropped to 1-7 with a home loss vs Lehigh
American won the battle of DC beating Howard to improve to 3-4
Penn dropped to 2-5 with a Big 5 loss at Villanova

Iona is the real deal. I will definitely be pulling for them to get to the NCAAT and make some noise.

We don't play Drexel or Northeastern this year, but I didn't know where else to put this. Just a few days after Drexel found out that Damien Lee is lost for the year with a knee injury, Northeastern announced today that Quincy Ford will be out after having back surgery. I loved watching both of these kids in the CAA. Here's to hoping they both get an extra year of eligibility and return to good health.

Wow, indeed. I was really impressed with UNI when we played them. I know there's not a lot of props going on around here these days, but I think that was an impressive win and kind of shows what this team is capable of when everybody contributes on both ends of the court.

Surprisingly, ISU really had trouble with UNI's man to man defense until OT.

ISU is REALLY long and Athletic at every single position. They really look impressive. Don't see how they couldn't hang with any team in the country.
