I made an inquiry into why there were no A-10 teams included in this poll.

They wrote back to me and told me that they had been instructed by the A-10 office not to include any A-10 teams in the poll.

So the A-10 office does not consider themselves to be a Mid-Major.

Maybe the name Low-Major should be the title for the basketball conferences ranked below the Big East and P4 but higher than the "Mid-Majors"

• Mid Major: 122–242
• Low Major: 243–362
