Welcome Coach Tony Skinn!

Just finished watching the coaches show and I really like what I heard from Marvin Lewis. Love the idea of making Mason "Nova's University". Reminds me of how Syracuse tries to sell itself as NY's or NYC's school. Also like that he understands the amount of money flowing in and around Nova and trying everything possible to tap into that. We need a few of the big contractors in Nova to pony up some cash to keep and improve our roster going forward. He talks at length about the new ops building but did not mention a start or completion timeline. Anyone know? It feels like we have the right people in charge to keep Mason relevant in the this college basketball landscape.

Yep, much better than W's "it's up to the alums" response.

We will be lost for a long time if Tony bolts after this season.

After years of mediocracy and overhyped, underperforming floor generals, I feel that we are finally on the right track and that the proverbial train will derail if we have to go to the coaching carousel again.

My vote is for stability, even if we have to back up the Brinks truck to his front door.

Help us Tony-Wan Kenobi, you're our only hope.

Please, just get Mason to the tournament before you bolt, Skinn!

But according to Twitter nerds—especially Curry Hicks Sage, who has surprisingly been right in the past—FSU has already reached out to Skinn, and bigger programs are expected to follow.

If Skinn leaves I’m done being a fan. No continuity and the big schools hoovering up all the talent with comparatively unlimited resources…just no fun being a mid major fan anymore.

Same. Hopefully it doesn’t happen, but I don’t think my want to care can handle losing a second coach within 3 seasons to a massive payday before they’ve even done anything here. Extra salt in the wound because it would be an alum doing it.

Can’t believe they’ve decided to play their worst game of the season against the most middling team in the A10 and get stomped like we were playing vcu in Richmond.

Maybe this game will keep other schools away from Tony.

Hey Tony, take control of your sub patterns. Leaving it up to assistants is not working. See KD.
