That's a frustrating loss for the Women, missed a big opportunity to pull of a road win against possibly the best team in the conference.

Had to fight hard for it, but Mason women win 81-72 over Saint Louis at home tonight. 16-5 record now, most wins for the women's basketball team since the 2003-2004 season

This has been going on since the 1700's. George Washington used to regularly beat George Mason at Whist when they played at Gunston Hall or Mount Vernon.

So this is an interesting thread and I want everyone's thoughts because I feel the esteemed braintrust here will have a clearer perspective than me.

I have gone to as many women's games this year as mens and found myself enjoying them quite a bit. It also seems that the women are doing very well and the coach is good.

Is the women's program improving as much as I think it has and does everyone else enjoy having a nice balance here?
