In the overtime loss to Davidson, Marquise Moore was 7-12 from the floor including his first career 3-pt. FG.

I don't. He doesn't take many in the first place and shouldn't, given that isn't his strong point. So it's not likely unless the clock is all but run out and he puts up a desperation shot that happens to go in.

On Marquis making his first 3 this year, I guess that I was wrong on this. In addition, as ugly as Marquis' shot is, his % on the mid-range 2's was quite good.

I'm certainly not complaining! Teams seem to still give him 12-15 footers, I guess based on last year's "book" on him, which, to his credit, he looks to have overcome.

I did notice him limping going back to the huddle late in the game. Chronic ankle issues?

I believe Moore hurt his ankle in the Wright State game, and he's been gimpy ever since. He couldn't even put any weight on it at one point during OT. I noticed he was standing on one foot while Davidson was shooting FTs.

You are correct! Marquise injured his ankle in the Wright State but stayed in the game to help the Patriots win. In the next game (Oklahoma) he played just 19 minutes and then sat out the following game vs. La Salle.

For those wondering, Shevon was 2 away from tying Thomas's single season rebound record last year, he will break it this season in my opinion:

I was thinking Shevon wouldn't get the record because hopefully we will have fewer missed shots for him to rebound under DP, but I forgot to hope that there will be more missed shots by our opponents.

I am really curious about Thompson, if he is really 7 feet, he will get drafted by, hopefully, a good squad late in the first round.

I am most interested to see what Royal does. As a former ACC player, he has been a bust. If he develops a mid range game, gets tougher on Defense, I think he could be a big surprise. He doesn't seem to have gained any muscle. Hopefully DP has him on the right track.
