In that case, I would have loved for him to stick around. He could have helped fill the void at point guard we've had since Jordan Carter graduated.
Has there been a string of worse luck than at "point guards" we've recruited? Cam Long (better off the ball), Andre Cornelius (better off the ball), Bryon Allen (better off the ball), Corey Edwards (big disappointment so far). At least Marquis Moore has a lot of potential.
Yeah, our record getting pure PGs isn't good. However, it's not like they are easy to recruit-- and I doubt it will get easier (despite the move to the A10). Simple fact is there just aren't many talented, ready-to-play floor generals coming out of high school that don't get swept up by the bigger programs.
We've swung and missed at some quality PGs lately, so it's not like the staff is totally ignoring the situation. It only takes one...
