Maybe so, but according to my W&M graduate son, they couldn't care less about athletics. Maybe they were trying to change their image/perception with the hiring of Fischer, but this type of result will not do it.

He makes $225+k. I'm sure there's alot of people willing to try their hand at being a HC for that. His lackluster record could easily be replaced by someone else for the same money, but have hope of upside.

But even a cheap AD/school would see the need to make a change.
