Yes. Agree 100%. And that's all I'm getting at. My one concern is the highlight tapes I see has a lot of plays coming from him as a wing and not many in the post. But I see him as a post player at the next level. Thus the Goanar Mar comparison.

Let's get him beefed up and working on those post moves.

If Miller comes back, there is going to be a log jam at the 4 (because he will play the 3 and push others up to the 4 probably). Hope this isn't an indication that Miller is gone.

I don't see it as a problem. Schwartz only has one year of eligibility. Even if Miller comes back, I don't know that we should count on him sticking around for a fifth year either.

Just guessing, but based on what KE has said about how he wants to play, I see Mbaye as a more athletic Oduro. Mbaye even said the coaches want him to play as a big, but “still be able to shoot the ball.”

A perfect fit for a 4-out or 5-out offense. Gotta have a big who can move and play away from the rim.

The best part of getting a freshman big now is it makes sense in roster construction. Unless Mbaye is the absolute truth he’ll be playing behind a legit A-10 big next season ... an ideal role instead of having to throw him into the fire on Day 1

Reminds me more of Mike Morrison, only with a step up offensive game, including outside shooting. If potential means anything this kid looks like a huge get for Mason. Love the way he runs the floor. I have never seen a 6'9" player who can drive to the basket like he does, and with spin moves. Wake me up if this is a dream. Also, a great change of pace with Oduro.

My mind immediately went to Serge Ibaka in that first highlight reel. Similar build, length, versatility, and playing style (excluding post moves which I don't know if Ibaka had either at that age). Not saying he's Ibaka or anything, but for comparison's sake (since Mar isn't even close).

Yeah I'm still not 100% sold that the flow out is quite done yet. Kids are at home now with parents, old coaches, etc. no way to know what is being put in their ears.
