I liked hearing that it’s winning the A10 tournament or bust basically.

With the depth and versatility of this year's Kim English team, we better make it to the tournament.

I agree, we’re recording these at 9pm because we all got young kids but next one will be in person after practice.

I guarantee you Kim regrets the way that scheduling played out. Unfortunately neither Maryland nor JMU were willing/able to reschedule.

There was nothing wrong with the schedule. If we lost to Maryland I guarantee you we probably would have beat JMU. Guys got a little cocky and/or overlooked JMU a little which is natural after coming off a huge win over Maryland. People here are acting like we had to go play at Hawaii and then fly back across the country to play JMU in the same day. We played Maryland on a Wednesday and had to drive two hours down the road to play JMU two days later. Trust me, 18-22 year old kids are used to playing lots of games and are used to having to travel to play. We didn't lose to JMU or Washington/Nevada/SD State because of our schedule, we lost because we didn't play well.

18-22 yo not withstanding, it’s different when you go up a level. Also, it was 5 games in 8 days and a player like Ticket went from playing maybe 2 mpg to playing 37 mpg.

There absolutely was a problem with the schedule, and it has nothing to do with being tired. I think coach talked about this in one of his coach's shows, but it came up again during the film study segment at The George Mason Experience. They didn't have time for their normal film study to break down the Maryland game before they played JMU, and so some mistakes that would have been called out on film went unaddressed. Then the team made those same mistakes at the very end of the JMU game. Coach called it one of his biggest regrets of the season.
