I'm sure he is referring to the parking boot he probably got after receiving the first of many bullsh-t tickets from our Barney Fife campus police department.

One year during homecoming while still an undergrad, and while I was still only moderately inebriated, my fraternity brother who worked for parking services stopped by the tailgate during his shift. I asked if I could go write some tickets and he said "of course!" We pulled up to a car a few minutes later and I didn't have the heart to do it.

I know another poster on these boards once got a ticket in Lot E for "resident permit parked in a commuter-only lot." For those who don't remember, Lot E was a resident lot at the time. I can only assume that the parking services employee was lost or drunk.

I almost ran over a parking services employee last season who was texting while directing traffic in and out of the Sandy Creek parking garage.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Moore starts at PG and Murrell at SG.

Two very strong 6-2 kids with complementary skills. Marquise can drive and kick, and Kam can knock down the 3 ball. I like that combo defensively too.

But I have a feeling it will be Moore and Holloway, backed up by the freshmen.

Mostly because we'd have a 6-2 guy guarding the SF spot and that's only going to work against teams that regularly play 3 guards.

I like Grayer because he brings some size and athleticism at SF, where he conceivably could be a 4-year starter.

I also prefer Marko starting at PF alongside Shevon because he's able to bring his man away from the basket and create space for Shevon in the paint.

If Jenkins and Royal are the two bigs on the floor together, Jenkins becomes the primary low post threat and Royal can play in the high post where he's most effective.

Moore, Murrell, Grayer, Marko and Shevon as the first 5, with Holloway and Livingston coming off the bench with Jenkins and Royal-- that's not a terrible 9-player rotation.

I'm guessing a lot of teams we play will be going with 3-guard lineups, but I'm fine with Holloway coming off the bench like Fouch did with Drexel. I prefer Jenkins starting over Marko, but I imagine both will get a decent amount of PT either way. Like Paulsen said after the open practice, he's more concerned about the five that finishes rather than the five who start.

I like that versus smaller teams with 3 guard sets. I'm sure we will see that against teams earlier in the season. Look for Paulsen to experiment a lot to in the first few games to see what our best flow will be best fitting..... then play the best 5 regardless of class.

I remember putting J2 in with 10 seconds left one game where the other team had to foul. It was subsequently inbounded TO J2, who was immediately fouled, and then he proceeded to miss the front end of the 1 and 1.
