J D-S is going to be our version of UMASS' Luwane Pipkins
Out of all the shots JDS took in that video I saw him hit the rim only once—the last shot. JDS put some serious rope burn on that basketball! That step back corner three at the :28 mark is un-f’ing-believable.

Article mentions he wants to be a combo guard because he knows he's a undersized 2. Curious if this would impact us getting another pg for 2019.

I can see him taking some of Kier's minutes if Kier can't get a consistent jump shot this season.I haven't been this high on an incoming freshman guard in my time following George Mason Basketball. I really think JDS is a very polished player. He seems to pay attention to detail and already does a lot of the little things (moving without the ball, running off screens, etc.) that should make his transition to college hoops pretty smooth.
I'm hoping he proves me right and earns plenty of minutes this year. I just wonder where they all are going to come from.
I love Kier and his slashing ability, but his inability to shoot outside of 20 feet is becoming a problem as more teams scout him. I really really hope he improves his shooting this offseason. I could certainly see JDS taking some of his minutes next season if the shooting doesn't improve.I can see him taking some of Kier's minutes if Kier can't get a consistent jump shot this season.

What about Mar? He was the player I've been most pumped for, and he's looking like he'll be something special. But don't want to derail the thread; I'm really looking forward to seeing this kid in green and gold.
