Yes George is family. Great Great kid. All I can say is, our coaching staff is beyond stellar. George was already on their radar and they handled him in a first class manner despite being a non schollarship player. He loved that experience. George and Otis are buds. George's father coached them when they were younger. George is a sniper. High IQ. Just needs to bulk up and work on defense. Will be great addition.

Well kudos to you and your family sir. This is an outstanding get. Nice looking shot and man he may be deceptively athletic part Deux.

White kid who can pop 3's..... YES PLEASE! Badly need a consistent 3 point threat on our team to open up some lanes. He may not be the quickest on defense and will need to work on that but kid can shoot.

Awesome get

Hopefully, he will continue to improve and earn quality playing time during his career here. But, most importantly to me, is to continue the tradition of having walk-on players as valued members of the program. This was exemplified by the graduating Myles Tate, who received the following tribute from Coach Paulsen:

"There is something special that happens within a team - a bond that is forged through the grueling practices, the early morning weight lifting sessions, the late-night bus rides and the inevitable ups and downs that occur within a college basketball season. As coaches, we constantly stress the importance of practice, the significance of each person's role on the team, the necessity of selflessness and the primacy of the team's mission over individual goals. In my opinion, the value of athletics participation lies in the shared sacrifices and experiences that teammates have, not in individual accolades.

In my 23 years as a collegiate head coach, no player has embodied this better than Myles Tate. One of the key factors in our team's success this year has been the quality of our preparation for upcoming opponents. Myles has embraced his role as the 'scout team' point guard and, whether it is running Duquesne's offense this week, or that of another league opponent, he plays a vital role in our preparation.

He delights in 'lighting up' the green team but does it with a sense of humor, grace, and selflessness that is rarely seen. This is probably not the role Myles dreamed of when he joined the Mason program, but it is a crucial role that he has been given and embraced. His teammates and coaches respect Myles' ability as a player, appreciate his sense of humor and charismatic personality, and revere his unselfishness."

GIVING DAY 2023

I couldn't shoot like Papas, but my game was always on the perimeter. I'm 6-2, which is admittedly pretty tall for pick-up games, but I always had to laugh when a guy from the other team pointed to me and said, "I've got the big guy."

My nickname in intramural basketball at Mason was Air Brian, and not because I could jump high...

I'm 5'9 and dunked in an intramural game. True story. (seriously). I did receive a technical for the dunk though - can you figure out why?

Sweet stroke!!! I thought that was Klay Thompson high school clip for a sec. If he shoots like that in college, he would play more than a few garbage minutes under Paulsen.

He has a very quick release, and shooting over 46% from 3, it means a lot.
