That's AWESOME news. Will be great to have that continuity and Coop's scoring (double-digits in 20 games) back for next season. I always felt that the quality of our starting 5 was always less an issue than the depth.

Can never have too many shooters … better PG play will benefit Coop next season because weak-side help won’t be able to just sit on him like they did in A-10 play. Add an offseason of working on attacking closeouts and he should be a major weapon.

The rest is very TBD which I have to think we'll get clarity on over the next few weeks. But having Cooper as a senior, Gaines as a senior, Oduro has a senior brings back a ton of experience. If they can sharpen up, and also get better at the point and add depth that will do wonders.

No reason to believe that next year won't be better than this year.

I went this morning to the top of Manu Kea and read the sacred runes left by the ancient Hawaiian warrior king Mizzo'umizzo'uco'achse'arch and the runes said Coach Kim English confirmed will be coaching the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors next season and all the players on Mason's team are transferring here and no one wants to play for Mason anymore its for nerds and you all suck and forum user GMUSSTN is going to find $20 on the sidewalk today.

Cooper is the smart one. Keep playing hoops...3 squares and a roof over your head till they say no more and you have to go play in Europe or get a coaching job.

It's similar to my dream of winning the lottery, going back to college at age 50, and taking all basket weaving, non degree courses to be classified as FT so I can live in the dorms.

He’s had at LEAST two phone interviews so far and he has boosters clambering for him at his alma mater. So yea there is a chance until Mizzou and Kansas St announce another coach

Ah ok. Did not that. Seems like quite a stretch gamble. But he did coach under Rick Barnes and using Mason as a one season springboard is probably very much in his playbook.

Would be greatly disappointing if that happened.
