Highlights from a year ago, before IMG. Looks to have pretty well developed footwork as well. His jumper might be uglier than Moore's though

I kept wondering how long opponents were going to keep falling for the play where he catches the ball at the top of the key, fakes a pass to one side, pivots, throws it to the other side and the cuts to the basket for a layup. It's almost as if the only team they played against was the Washington Generals.

Earlier today I stumbled on some info somewhere on the internet that indicated Appy State offered him. Couldn't find any other offers.

Was curious myself.

I realize it could be skewed because it's late in the process and he has 4 spots to fill, but it's still striking to me that DP has already signed 2 guys who Hewitt never would've even offered.

No idea whether either of these guys can play -- who knows at this point? -- but I'm thrilled that we once again have a coach who is looking for basketball players instead of guys who look good walking through an airport.

Our most successful teams were built on skilled guys who were considered too short or slow or unathletic to play in a major conference. Now it's DP's job to coach these guys up and get the most out of them. Can't wait to see how it unfolds.

I'm pretty sure that would make his father Dan Aykroyd.

Aykroyd is 6'1 and Dixon is 5'9. Would be odd for them to have a 6'9 kid.
