Paulsen was very energetic; it occurs to me, with little to no help from assistant coaches, that at the very least, he's a very hard worker.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Dude used to coach at the D3 level, so in addition to being the head coach he was probably also the ball boy, travel agent, academic tutor and team secretary.
