Right but of course it's impossible for any of us to say anything without knowing the exact contract the school signed with Adidas. I'd bet with a bigger school they'd make it a priority to not let the school sell anyone else's stuff.

I'm sure. Finding anything other than Nike/Jordan for Carolina is next to impossible. Finding non adidas stuff for Kansas is tough. I don't know the last time I've seen anything non-UA for Maryland. I'd be curious about our deal with adidas vs. the adidas deals at Rhode Island, Duquesne, and St. Bonaventure (who just went adidas this year).

You do realize whatever company outfits our athletic department has nothing to do with the branding rights they sell for general public merchandise sales right?

No, that's a valid point. In my head I have been lumping the two together.

But again, I would assume an athletic apparel provider would be interested in making that a part of the branding agreement as that is something that could certainly be negotiated for.

I know every two years we get new basketball unis, and we don't want to be like everybody else, but if we have to go with an adidas template again (likely) the new St. Bonaventure unis are nice.

Why are shorts so long now? They don't look good and they have to be uncomfortable to run in when they go below the knee. I'm not asking for the Larry Bird nuts hanging out look but damn that picture looks ridiculous.

I remember we played St. Bonny in the late 90's/early 2000's and they had this tiny guy, probably between 5'6 and 5'8, that literally had his shorts hanging down to his ankles. He was actually really good.

Just checked out VTs Bookstore. and on their website it lists all the brands they carry.

I was happy to see in Wal Mart they have a couple tshirt options, really liked one of them but they only had XL and larger - perhaps a sign people are buying them?! Forgot to even notice who made the shirt.
