To qualify, she needs a top three finish in the 10,000-meter final scheduled for Friday, June 28 at 6:10 p.m. Eastern time. The event will air on the NBC/Peacock platforms.

An assistant for the past two seasons for the Patriots, Sullivan got her qualifier for the trials by finishing with a personal best time of 31:55.80 in March 2023 at the meet named The TEN held in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. Didn't quite make it, finishing 14th out of 22, about a minute behind the 3d place finisher and 40 seconds behind the 4th place (Note: if she had run at her personal best time, she would have finished 4th). But hats off to her for even qualifying for the finals!
