My brother let me know he heard Paul Hewitt on the radio today. He was being interviewed about the NLRB decision. It gets interesting when he's asked his salary. Says something like "enough to support my wife and daughters." A panelist responds "that means too much." Hewitt won't tell the interviewee his salary, but the host of show looks it up and reports it's $660,000. LOL. Audio and transcript at thedianerehmshow.org.

sometimes, listening to diane rehm can put me to sleep. this is the first time someone (hewitt) talking might have actually put HER to sleep. whatever it is hewitt believes in, his delivery on the subject is so poor I lose interest. maybe that's his problem when "coaching".

let's hope so.....the suspense is frustrating..hopefully we sever this relationship by Monday and we open up a search to bring in the correct candidate for this program. It's shocking that 4 years ago we were an 8th seed in the NCAA tournament, knocking off Villanova...those days seem so long ago after struggling through these past seasons since.

I hope it's a done deal...but I won't be convinced until it happens (just my natural pessimism!). My fear is that it won't be Angel and Brad's decision and some bean counter on a governing board will decide the school can't afford to pay two salaries at the same time. Hopefully this is an unfounded fear...
