Yeah understand that, he was asking if we were granted an additional scholarship due to Covid rules, would we be able to pay for it.Doesn’t quite work that way. There is a flat limit to scholarships.

Yea before Covid…Doesn’t quite work that way. There is a flat limit to scholarships.
That was before schools could pay players, couldn't the McKays just bank roll a two year tuition for a "walk-on"?Doesn’t quite work that way. There is a flat limit to scholarships.
I still have faith in Henry and Blake to develop into something.
Blake just needs to work on his strength and Henry needs to refine his offense. Not sure if either will ever get to starter quality but who knows.
Could definitely use another low post big in 23 though.
A lot easier for a doughy guy to chisel into muscle than for a guy with Jones's build to add on.Here's hoping you're right.
Then again, a couple years ago watching JO I always thought "this guy looks soft, kinda goofy, and can't play down low" and not he's developed into a legitimate player. So maybe those guys will develop too.

If I'm KE and staff, I'm working hard to add one in 22.
You can also transfer without sitting out a year if you complete a degree. Kier graduated from Mason, so his transfer from Mason to Georgia was a "grad transfer," not a "one-time transfer"Yes. Kier should have exhausted his eligibility.
This is important. Masonhoops.com was started because of this - back in '98 we were getting zero coverage in the local press. The community started writing emails to the sports editors at the time to complain and it gradually improved as the team continued to win.The Washington Post print edition had a 5-sentence writeup on the game including:
"D'Shawn Schwartz had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Davonte Gaines also scored 15 for George Mason."
Actually, Schwartz had 15 points, 4 rebounds, and a team-high 5 assists. And, Gaines had 15 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
It's a business not a community, non-profit appreciation media source. The program barely get 3-4K fans in attendance you think the Post is gonna send someone on 2 days notice to Kansas to report on this team? This is important. I urge everyone to hit up @PostSports, @mattvita (WaPo Sports Editor), @MarkRSelig (WaPo Sports Editor), @SoccerInsider (Steve Goff) and let them know about the mistake and the lack of coverage.
lol you think he is complaining about sending folks to Kansas? They can't even give us more than a sentence in a close loss to the number 6 team, but give Gtown 3 paragraphs for a loss to a low major. It's a business not a community, non-profit appreciation media source. If we win, they will have to cover us. Simple as that.lol you think he is complaining about sending folks to Kansas? They can't even give us more than a sentence in a close loss to the number 6 team, but give Gtown 3 paragraphs for a loss to a low major.
they cover non DC teams and shitty AF Gtown over us and GW (GW sucks but still). Gonna take a lot of winning to change it and I agree with you. But I am not sure sending someone to Kansas for coverage was the point of contention regardlessIf we win, they will have to cover us. Simple as that.
I believe CKE can get us there.
It's just not surprising, at our best we had a soccer writer occasionally covering some of the gameslol you think he is complaining about sending folks to Kansas? My impression is that our game with KU and, for that matter, nearly all coverage of our games in the Post are simply AP releases. Actually they devoted a few more sentences to the KU game than most of the others. The error on Gaines' stats likely was on AP.lol you think he is complaining about sending folks to Kansas? I’d be VERY interested to see our attendance numbers compared to GT at the end of the year. It's a business not a community, non-profit appreciation media source. Of course! I am not expecting or asking them to send a beat reporter to every game home/away. I'm just asking for more than they're doing. The point is to start asking and engaging now, if you want it later. It's a business not a community, non-profit appreciation media source. I'm sure I'm repeating what has been said earlier, but the Post considers itself a "national" newspaper and only will regularly cover local teams that are well-known nationally. Simply don't have that big a staff of sportswriters to cover the other locals including us.they cover non DC teams and shitty AF Gtown over us and GW (GW sucks but still). Gonna take a lot of winning to change it and I agree with you. But I am not sure sending someone to Kansas for coverage was the point of contention regardless

On a related note, we had some nieces visiting over the holidays from California. They wanted to be sure to get a Georgetown sweatshirt while they were here! Absolutely no interest in Mason sweatshirt despite my giving them a walking tour of our campus. We're clearly in Rodney Dangerfield territory!
