I feel so bad for the Dayton kids. They will be 80 years old some day and talking to their grandkids about the season that could have been:

"Way back in 2020, some 60 years ago, we had a team for the ages. We had this incredible player named Bernie Taupin, but it was all snatched away by something called the Andre Corneliusvirus. We could have had it all. We were rolling in the deep ... wait, what were we talking about again?"

Interesting, at least to me, is that this season was the worst for college basketball I've seen in 40+ years of following.
