I have been a season ticket holder for the past five years. Ok, let me get this right. You have a Senior who's been a three year starter, was second on the team in scoring, assist, steals, block shots, rebounds and minutes played and he's not a Captain. Lets not talk about our best defender, and one of our most reliable players last season. He lead the team in scoring, assist and steals before he got hurt, who is this player?????? Wow looks like another Patrick H0lloway push out to me. I can't imagine what was going through Paulsen and his coaching staffs mind when he snubbed this Player. I just hope this doesn't hurt the kids confidence, cause this is clearly a slap in the face to a good kid who has always represented this University with class.

I hear what you're saying, but if they have just two captains it's pretty common for one of them to be your point guard or best player, and then the other is often a vocal leader who gets everybody excited. I wouldn't worry about this too much. If Marquise has a temper tantrum over this he wasn't captain material to begin with. Now if Danny Dixon and Miles Tate were selected as captains then I'd be concerned.

My sense is that Marquise is a very quiet guy. Very hard to read his emotions by his facial expression. Doesn't make a lot of noise or say much that could be interpreted as "leading" his teammates. Clearly he's one of our better players and I think is appreciated for that by the coaches and the team. But by nature is not the vocal guy that others see as important in the captain's role.

Do we have depth down low? Will A.J. redshirt? How does Ian Boyd look? What role will Jaire have? Can Troy rebound as well as he can dunk?

Ahhhh, I can't wait for the season to get going!!!

I also assumed we would have 3 captains out of respect for the 2 seniors, but the staff and players had a vote and if this is what they came up with, far be it from a nobody like me to question it.

Really guy! I was just saying I felt bad of him because he was a senior and a three year starter. I really don't care who the captains are, I just want to see progress. I think Livingston and Jenkins will make great captains. So I guess you been to every practice? Unreal, or maybe you are one of the coaches that voted against him!!!!
