looks like one single WaPo article can signal the end of an era for the reigning NIT Champs.

I think it was 2006 or 2007 when a WaPo article came out about GW hoops getting some kids into school that wouldn't have qualified academically. That was the beginning of the end, IMO, of the Karl Hobbs era. However, to be fair, one of the players who acceptance into GW was questioned, went on to graduate with honors. Still, once Hobbs had to change his recruiting practices, that started his downward spiral.

Lonergan is a Maryland guy. Pretty sure his connection with the Junkies goes all the way back to Bowie.

If you have a chance take a look at EB's tweets. @EBJunkies He has a one track mind and claims to know the real truth. I get it, if they are "friends" hes going to defend him but this is over the top defense of the guy. Its like he wont even entertain the thought that these allegations could be true. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
