Great topic - baseball stadium geek here. I need the new Texas Rangers stadium and the West Coast stadiums to get to every MLB park.

Fan of minor league stadiums too. Recently hit Kannapolis, Charlotte and independent league Gastonia.

Also hit Coastal Plain League team Forest City. If you're looking for an "old-time" baseball experience, go to a CPL game. Collegiate wooden bat league - older, but well kept parks. Good baseball. The fancy new parks in the affiliated minors are great, but I may prefer the old parks of the CPL.

GIVING DAY 2023
We used to live in Lawrenceville, VA. There was an old D League park there from the '30s and '40s that the local boys and girls little league played in. I coached my son and daughter there in the late '80s to mid '90s. Pretty cool. Same stands. Same dugouts. Actually kept up pretty well.
It's still there and still in use.

Mets (Shea and Citi)
Phillies (Vet and Citizens)
Marlins
Nationals
Pirates
Yankees (old and new)
Blue Jays
Red Sox
Rays
Orioles
Reds
Rockies
Mariners

Next up: both Chicago teams and Milwaukee

Hoping for a Cali trip next year or the year after where we figure out a schedule to see all 5 parks.

Don't remember all the minor league parks, but we go to Wilmington Blue Rocks (Nats) Aberdeen Ironbirds (O's), and Brooklyn Cylcone (Mets) games relatively often

Milwaukee to Chicago is a very easy trip. We took a train from Milwaukee and I think it was like 20 bucks to get to Chicago. Of course this was back in 2009, but it was still pretty easy. Milwaukee was also a crazy cheap city. Burger fries and beer was 14 bucks.

PNC gets a lot of love as the best ballpark. There's a lot of ways you could judge that and I'm not sure what my favorite is (I've been to almost half), but I definitely get the love for PNC. Best backdrop of any of the stadiums on my list.

Somewhat unexpectedly hit Tropicana a few weeks ago, and first trip to GABP earlier this summer. Cincinnati was an even better trip than I expected and I would say that is one of the better parks I've been to. Tropicana... is what it is. Doesn't deserve the utter disgust people seem to have for it but near the bottom of my list

Seeing Hank Aaron play at Fulton County Stadium, and then years later getting a picture taken with my son and daughter at the spot where he hit 715 (in the parking lot at Turner Field) was a highlight for me.

heading to Diamondbacks stadium tonight to check another off the list. One good thing of traveling 50% of the time for work is having the ability to finish lists like this

Mine:
OPACY, Nats, Citizens, PNC, Fenway, Target Field (Minn), Seattle, Chase (AZ), Oracle (SF), Coors, Wrigley...
Oracle is the best ballpark and overall experience.

An odd thread to resuscitate from the dead, but I'll play.
  • RFK (Nationals)
  • Nats Park (Nationals)
  • Camden Yards (Orioles)
  • Fenway Park (Sox)
  • Wrigley Field (Cubs)
  • Petco Park (Padres) – sort of
  • Spuhler Field (GMU)
  • Clark-LeClair Stadium (ECU)
  • Pfitzner Stadium (Cannons/P Nats)
  • Virginia Credit Union Stadium (Fred Nats)
  • Cardines Field (Sunset League)
The coolest by far is Cardines Field in Newport, RI, which dates back as far as 1893 or 1908 depending on who you ask. Was also my first introduction to through-style/bathtub urinals as a wee lad. Definitely has the weirdest field dimensions I've ever come across as well.

Went to Coors on Saturday. Beautiful view of the mountains from right field line. Area around the park isn't the greatest but the new-ish McGregor Square is cool.

Want to hit a game here someday. Disappointed that a bar down the right field that looked like a cool place place to view the game has been replaced by some exclusive "space." It was one of the reasons I wanted to check the place out.

Hit Rangers game in ungodly heat this summer. Texas Live next to stadium is a cool place , but home to $20 and up beers, which I unfortunately found out after I ordered. Only have the West Coast parks to go...

I enjoyed Coors and the LoDo area. There's actually some quality spots if you know where to go (I ended up at a rooftop beer garden which was nice.)

I'll tell you what sucks: Staying around the airport. There ain't sh*t there.

Wow I thought it was bad when I got a $17 beer at Citifield. At least it was a 24 ounce one.
