What are the best bars/breweries in FFX these days? Im thinking just old town FFX and university mall.

University Mall has OhGeorge, Fat Tuesdays, and Velocity Wings. I don't recommend any of them. Fairfax City has a lot of places to choose from. Auld Shebeen, Coyote Grill, Patriot's Pub & Grill, Ornery Brewery, Red Hot and Blue, Capital Ale House, just to name a few.

I enjoyed Capital Ale House but second what Sleeper said -- very much not a pregame vibe. They just redid Ornery (and they are a Patriot Club Sponsor) food is solid, only place around here that does bitterballen.

We really need a good go to pregame spot.....

while the opening schedule isn't exactly a tough one, it is filled with tweener teams that could/should win their conferences (albeit weak conferences) Stony Brook will be good but they too have a couple of pieces new to the program that will need a feel out period... Their second best player was a retread from Dayton that got absolutely 0 playing time... (kind of like Jordan Roland who scored 20+ppg for Northeastern after sucking at GW)
