I hope we don't get Georgetown, UVA or Maryland in the first round. I know the NCAA loves those regional match ups in the first round, though.

Question for those in the know- is the A10 traditionally a better soccer conference than the CAA? Would this year's team been able to win the CAA tourney?

They used the HS field because it was turf, rather than the natural grass field at Dayton. That's why it was usable after the huge storm and the Dayton field wasn't.

The CAA has historically been a very strong soccer conference, although nothing like the ACC obviously. The CAA and A10 are probably fairly comparable.

This year's CAA had a W&M squad which won back to back games against the #1 team in the nation -- first Creighton, then UNC -- and has been ranked in the top 25 for much of the year. Granted, they lost to Drexel in the finals. UNCW also had a very strong team this year and flirted just outside the top 25.
