What is the Red Panda????? Translation please.
Forgot to update everyone but I had separate conversations with Otis and Paulsen Friday night. A quick summary:
Both Otis and Dave said Reuters is the real deal. Very impressed with his skill level and shooting.
Otis is tremendous with the fans. Could not have been nicer!! I laughed about Paulsen screaming his name during games and I told him he handles it well!!
Dave said this year could be tough replacing Marquise and Jalen and he agreed with me that next year could be special.
The freshman well are the freshman but very talented.
I asked Dave about the drill he ran the players through his first day on the job that should have taken 10 minutes but took 45 minutes? He said talking! During passing, shooting, and dribbling drills no one said a word. No wonder why we stunk under Hewitt. He also joked if he knew the state of the program he would have stayed at Bucknell.

We could make a whole thread about this. Off the top of my head:
1) lack of rebounding
2) lack of ball handling
3) lack of communication/talking
4) bad defense/rotations
5) horrible at keeping a lead
6) no hustle
7) no accountability
8) most recruits not ready for CAA level, much less A10 level
What are some of the 800,000 other things that I'm missing?
You pretty much nailed it. Hewitt was --- ughhhhh ----- just like that burning lower intestinal distention that would grind on your for hours with pain and sweating only with the occasional bowl blowing relief only to start up again with the gut grinding pain, gas, and distention. Then there would be the random constipation resulting in power vomiting.
Just a dark sad painful sickening memory.
With every joke, there is a layer of truth....
He really is a great coach, and now he's starting to get the resources that he needs and deserves. It's amazing how much has gotten done in the last couple of years to improve the foundation of the program. You truly get the feeling that success will finally be be accompanied by investment in the program by the administration.

There are some solid coaches in the A10, but for my (albeit small) money I'd take DP over any of them.
Can someone tell me what the hell the red panda is?????

I saw Red Panda at halftime of the the St Louis/Mason game last year in StL.
