Evans said he had offers from Miami and Arizona. The fact that he didn't bother to visit either school tells me he was going to vcu the entire time.

Again, that is perfectly fine. The young man should be able to play for whoever he wants. vcu isn't my taste but whatever.

Also, whoopdie damn doo that Rhoades was able to lure one of his former players to leave a mid-pack CUSA school to play for one of the top programs in the A-10. Not exactly like selling ice cubes to Eskimos.

I'm quite certain Paulsen could have persuaded one of his Bucknell kids to follow him to Mason, but he decided to handle his departure in a different manner.

While evidently true in this case, many schools do make a player's release (particularly a star player) conditional on not transferring to a school in the same conference or its former coach's new school. What would have been the reaction of Mason Nation if Luke Hancock had transferred to Miami?

Hancock didn't come here for any reason other than Larranaga. If the coach leaves the kid should be able to follow. Most coaches won't do that however.
