I hate that I stumbled upon this 30th anniversary special on "The Karate Kid" from a few years ago and couldn't stop watching. I hate now knowing that none of the three stars — Ralph Maccchio (Daniel Larusso), Billy Zabka (Johnny "Sweep the Leg" Lawrence) and especially Pat Norita (Mr. Miyagi) — knew a lick of karate before shooting.

Yeah, but their training schedule was genius. The Cobra Kai had six months of intense training while they let Ralph Macchio hang out to dry the entire time, so by the time they started filming he still had no clue what he was doing (which really shows).

Pat Johnson is a pretty genius choreographer.

I hate that the outerloop lost a lane as it merges with 270 South. Instead of 3 lanes merging with the 3 lanes of 270 South, there is only 2 lanes. Now, traffic backs up all the way to Conn Ave. What F did they think was going to happen?

I hate that UMass is picked below us in the preseason poll and yet we still couldn't close the deal to get a kid from DC whose high school head coach is a former assistant to our current coach and whose high school assistant coach will forever be a legend at Mason.
