Not inappropriate, but American U already is the Eagles and is only a few miles away from GW

Umass is already the minutemen, but we have lots of rams so why not.

Eagles is tha safe animal choice, however they’ve always had the hippo as a secondary mascot

Hippos are good. Revolutionaries is solid too and Revolution could also work. GW Revolution has a good ring to it; the dance team could be called Dance Dance Revolution.
