Except, he had a redshirt year left and played in 0 games this season. Boyd has eligibility left if he wants it.

Kier's situation is much more up in the air.

We’ve watched Petey go from a mason board commenter to an A10 narrative driver in 3 years. He hosts his own podcast, tweets for multiple handles now and has sat media row at home games and tourneys.

Liem and Tony, 2 season ticket holders and donators, now are making the best independent highlight videos on the east coast and getting praised by Mason staff now for their work.

It’s a crazy run that most thought we’d quit by now, bloggers around the A10 are shocked we even still have a podcast. In light of all the news breaking recently, gonna bump our pod with Dr. G here one more time. It's under 30 minutes and really worth a listen to get an understanding of all the logistical challenges associated with reopening (don't forget he's currently an AD):

In particular, what I thought was interesting:

- You need a plan for guys entering the locker room, sitting on the bench, getting on the bus, etc etc etc. Basically everything you used to take for granted needs a distancing plan.

- Coaches are going to use two-man groups to keep guys away from the "close contact" definition. Remember, if someone tests positive, everyone who's been in close contact with that person also has to sit for a few days. Close contact is 15+ minutes within 6 feet of someone, which makes it impossible to run five-man stuff.

- He went back to his comments about teams being "too old" because of how much of a grind every college season takes. He thinks this season (if it happens) is going to be a blessing for senior-laden teams like Richmond and SLU because all the guys will be fresher and won't be worn down.

Check it out, Dr G is great. It's not a conversation about whether or not we'll have a season, it's a conversation that assumes a disrupted season and how coaches will manage it.

Had a ton of fun with this interview, MoJo was candid and enjoyable to chat with, even off the mic. Did y’all know he was on the 06 Michigan State team that lost to us in the tourney and then transferred to Vermont and played us again? Pretty funny talking about it full circle.

He will absolutely help in recruiting, he made a comment that him and DP often found themselves in the same gym recruiting the same guys, which will obviously help him transfer into our system. Give the newest podcast a listen and let us know what other content you want. Still grinding during COVID!
