I needed a new heel for my shoe, so I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel. And in those days, nickels has pictures of bumble bees on them. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say.

Now where were we -- oh yeah, the important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones.

By the way, this is why I think whatever they're going to do with an arena (work on EBA or build a new one), they should have an athletic apparel store and Hall of Fame attached to it.

I have seen these but full size baseball hats make me look like a conehead. Much prefer the low profile...would also prefer it to be all green.

After typing all that out I realized I'm just gonna have to teach myself how to make a hat. Or go to one of those embroidery kisosks in the mall.

Based on a photo circulating on social, the women’s team has gone back to the split “George” and “Mason” with the number in the middle.

I’d be be shocked if the men’s jerseys aren’t that style as well since KE seems to have a particular fondness for reconnecting with the 2006 team.
