Had a son who did though and saw how much work it took and the sacrifices made. The injuries, etc. So forgive me if I stick up for the players sometimes and it offends your gentle sensibilities. Or don’t, couldn’t care less.
I'm not following, or perhaps we are crossing paths here. What I am offering and posting is what is called constructive criticism. You are never perfect in your game. There is always something that you can work on or that you can improve on.
Am I glad that Mason is 7-1? Hell yes. Was tonights game great? Yes it was. Did we play defense well? Yes. Crash the boards well both offensively and defensively? Yes. Make our FTs? Yes.
Was there something that we could work on still? Yes. We need to work limiting the turnovers.
You must hate the great coaches in life... the ones that tell you everyday something new that has to be worked on... something wrong with your game. That's how you improve and get better. Yes, this Mason team is doing great. But there is always something that can be critiqued, something that can be fixed and made better so when you go out there in the next game, you perform better.
